The principles of wireless and wired network printing are the same. This type of printer is equipped with a wireless network card, just like a mobile phone or laptop. Nowadays, both laser and inkjet printers use USB interfaces. Due to the slow transmission speed, LPT has been eliminated by these two types of printers.
Now, only dot matrix printers are equipped with LPT interfaces. Only inkjet and laser printers have network ports, but dot matrix printers do not.
